Anti-scarcity and giving

There's an alternative to the attitude of "I'll take care of me". There's an alternative to a selfish "me first" approach to life. There's even an alternative to traditional economic theory based on the idea that we are all rational individuals.

Which is encouraging, because a self-oriented attitude coupled with a scarcity mindset is a zero-sum attitude to life. We end up building communities where there has to be losers in order for there to be winners.

Sound familiar?

Turn's out there's an alternative: Altruism.

If we all looked out for each other, we'd all be looked after.

A Good Home can help us to share more.

  • Share more time, because we have a smaller house so work less.
  • Share more space, because we have a bigger house and host people.
  • Share more food, because we have a big vegetable garden.
  • Share more wisdom, because we know our neighbours.
  • Share more stuff, because we trust our neighbours.
