Materialism would have us believing we are defined by the things we have.
Whereas in truth we are defined by community.
And at the intersection of these ideas are our homes.
Seeing our homes through the lens of materialism reduces them to a commodity. To purely financial assets. To items to be traded, developed, and speculated on.
Whereas in truth, our homes are the key points of connection. Of belonging. A place to love and be loved.
