Mismatched expectations can end any relationship. What would we expect of a zero-dividend property developer?

Other than finances, how would we expect staff to be treated?

Who would we expect to be preferred clients? What should they contribute?

Do we have expectations of the companies the developer uses? Would there be practices we would expect a building company used on a project to undertake?

What about other professionals involved? Should the architects, engineers and planners also be contributing somehow to making the world a better place in a way other than contributing their skills to the project?

I’m immersing myself in a new language.

I’m learning to speak Te Reo Māori, the language of the indigenous people of Aotearoa New Zealand and one of our official languages. After spending 2020 studying, I’m figuring out how to keep the journey going outside the classroom.
